My mind's awake, my body stone,

I'm trapped inside, but all alone.

I see the room, I feel the limb,

my brain's alive, but flesh is dim.

A shadow man stands close, no sound,

no words escape, he's locked, no bound.

I close my eyes, he grows in size,

no voice, no move, just heavy lies.

He tells my clear: there's no escape,

no light, no path, no hands to take.

He steals my breath, I'm frozen still,

Caught in this hell, no will, no thrill.

The worst part's here: I'm stuck within,

I'm wide awake but can't begin.

A scream's so close, but none will hear,

fear digs deep, time disappears.
