I hit the joint, the day turns light,

My thoughts take off, my world turns brright.

The words just poor without a fight,

As if the smoke switched on the night.

I reach for weed when I'm in pain,

When inner shadows leave a stain.

The pressure fades, the ache grows small,

But only while I feel your Call.

At first, it lifts, it sets me free,

Then slowly starts to take from me.

I drift in Trance, I lose my grip,

My heart turns numb, my gaze goes stiff.
